Section 8 is a large-scale, futuristic first person shooter that brings strategy and tactics to the first-person shooter genre in a game where players can modify the battlefield on the fly.

The game’s name refers to the super elite squad of powered armor infantry that serve as the focus of the single-player content. The squad’s nickname is because of its penchant for taking on suicide missions that no one else will tackle.

Well one of the most anticipated games was released a few hours ago and here it is.  I read the Civil War comics when they came out and it is a great storyline.  If you haven’t I suggest that you go and read it because it is well worth it and should provide a lot more background information in the game.  It would be great if they could have turned the storyline into an animated movie. This month has some great games that will be released (NFS: Shift, Wet, HALO 3:ODST, NHL 2K10) so sit back and enjoy them all.  Stay thirsty my friends!

If you will be home all weekend without anything to do, there have been a number of great releases that can certainly fill your time. CCCLX has released Wet for everyone to give a try. I have seen the trailers for this game but I don’t know much about it but it looks decent. With dot posting NHL 2k10 this just leaves us waiting for Halo and NFS:Shift to be released. Heroes Over Europe is an 2009 arcade flying game developed by Transmission Games and published by Ubisoft. It is the sequel to Heroes of the Pacific. Heroes Over Europe follows three pilots – an American, a Brit, and a New Zealander – through fourteen missions during World War II. The game features over 40 World War II planes and online support for 16 players in Dogfight, Team Dogfight, Survivor, and Team Survivor game modes.
